Petco Love Lost
Fireworks Fiasco
This film is part of Petco Love Lost’s ongoing animated series, continuing the stories of My Ruff Day and Firework Fiasco. Each film in the series focuses on a simple but powerful idea: helping lost pets find their way back home.
For this chapter, Pawparazzi, we placed the pet in a busy, chaotic environment filled with cameras, flashing lights, and unfamiliar faces. The idea was to recreate that overwhelming moment when a pet suddenly loses sight of its owner. This context allowed us to naturally express panic, confusion, and vulnerability through movement and performance, without needing dialogue or heavy explanation. It also reflects a real-world scenario where distractions and crowds make it easy for pets to slip away.
Created for pet owners and animal lovers nationwide, the film balances heartfelt storytelling with clarity, helping turn a practical tool into something people can connect with on a human level.
This project reflects how we approach character-led animation: starting with empathy, grounding stories in real situations, and using animation as the main storytelling tool, not just a visual layer.
